Es ist schon fast Winter (auch wenn es gerade nicht so aussieht...), aber ich bin noch in Herbststimmung. Dazu passt das Stück Autumn Afternoon. Es hat eine einfach scheinende, aber trotzdem berührende Melodie und Harmonik. Es lässt an fallende Blätter, graue Wolken, pfeifenden Wind denken ... und dann an eine trockene, warme Stube, in der ich neben einer Kerze einen heißen Kaffee oder Tee trinke und ein gutes Buch lese. Ich habe den Song in zwei sehr unterschiedlichen Varianten als Hörprobe eingestellt - welche gefällt Ihnen besser?
It is almost winter now (although it doesn't seem likely that anything like winter could be real in the near future...), but I still feel rather like autumn. That's why I added Autumn Afternoon, a seemingly simple, but touching melody. It makes me think of falling leaves (not Autumn Leaves though... that's quite another song ;-), grey clouds, a heavy storm... and then a nice and cozy living room with a candle on the table where I enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea and read an inspiring book. There are two quite different versions sound samples of this song - which one do you like more?
