- „Christ ist erstanden“ (Christ has risen) is an ancient Easter hymn which is very popular in Germany. Its simple dorian melody is perfectly suited for all kinds of variations. This Toccatina is based on a rhythmic pattern played by the organ while the saxophone is presenting the melody rather freely.
