- Description
- „Holy God, we praise Thy Name“ (Großer Gott, wir loben dich) is a sort of flagship among the traditional eucumenical hymns: everybody knows it, most people like it. Even part-time church musicians will have played it dozens of times – nevertheless, it is always possible to interpret it in a new and fresh way, as is demonstrated by this intonation for saxophone and organ, composed in a toccata style and using some jazzy chords notably in its final bars.
Score includes part for saxophone in B flat.
